About this course

This 2-day programme assumes no prior experience of presenting. It will take you from the basics of planning and preparing a presentation through to delivery. At the end of the workshop, you will be fully equipped to deliver a successful presentation with impact, and will be able to do this with confidence. The programme is designed and based on the belief that there is a hidden star performer in all of us!

  • How to identify what the presentation is intended to achieve based on stakeholder expectations
  • Create a presentation which includes the key deliverables and is designed to have maximum impact
  • Prepare effectively for presentation delivery
  • Methods of overcoming nerves
  • How to introduce a presentation to ensure audience expectations are managed effectively
  • Keeping the presentation on track and to time
  • Use of supporting materials – trainer note – PowerPoint – handouts
  • Handle audience question with confidence
