Associate Information:
Saima is an Associate Consultant at Oakwood International, based in Dubai, UAE. An experienced, highly motivated and certified HR and L&D professional, Saima has a significant and proven track record of HR and learning and development experience. She is certified facilitator with an interactive training style which compliments the delivery of the content.
Saima holds a Masters degree in Strategic Human Resource Management having received the top graduate award for her graduating class. She is also an Associate Member of the CIPD, an ILM certified Coach, and a Fellow of the ILM.
In addition to her Associate Consultant role at Oakwood International, Saima is also a Programme Manager, looking after client relationships and consulting.
Saima has extensive HR, L&D and soft skills training and facilitation and audit and internal controls experience in the UAE. With a wide range of experience of training delivery across the UAE banking sector, as the Head of Technical Training at Barclays Bank PLC, and the Head of Training for the Expatriate Segment at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, she has managed and delivered developmental programs aimed at junior to C-suite employees.
In addition to this, she has also been involved in curriculum development, and leading employee development, coaching and mentoring programs.
Personal and Fun:
Saima resides in the UAE with her family, and is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi and Arabic. She is passionate about charity work and giving back to the community, is a keen traveler, an amateur cook and an avid cinema buff.
