Associate Information:
An Associate Consultant with Oakwood International, Daryl is a qualified L & D professional whose experience spans facilitation, qualification development, board representation and business management. He focuses on delivering a bespoke service attuned to the needs the client across the areas of Leadership & Management, L & D and HR.
Daryl is a Fellow of the CMI, holding a Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership and Chartered Manager status, the highest that can be achieved in the management & leadership profession. Daryl is also a member of both CIPD & ILM, and certified in teaching, coaching & mentoring, HR, assessment, and quality assurance.
Personal and Fun:
Based north of London, UK, where he renovated a house from foundations to roof. He loves to travel, try new foods, and enjoys an active lifestyle with adventure sports such as rock climbing, skiing, and mountain biking.
Industry Experience:
Daryl trained as manager with Marks & Spencer PLC where he discovered a passion for developing his managers and team members to reach their full potential. In 2009, he transitioned into management consultancy and L & D, building and managing L & D functions which provide services to the public, banking, construction, medical and charitable sectors.
Daryl worked with Ofqual & the IFA to develop new qualifications and apprenticeships in construction and leadership & management. Having considerable experience in scoping and developing L & D solutions from junior staff to senior executives, he has been graded 1, outstanding, for his classroom delivery by Ofsted, the British office for education standards.
