Martin has held strategic roles in FTSE 100 companies in both sales and HR and L&D. He is an associate member of the CIPD and ILM and holds post graduate degree in teaching. He is also qualified in online learning, coaching, train the trainer, NLP, management and leadership and counselling.
Personal and Fun:
Martin is fluent in English, Afrikaans and Dutch. He loves nothing more than throwing his camping gear and dogs in his truck and heading for the mountains and believes firmly in life time learning.
With 15 years of sales experience giving Martin a strong financial focus to his training, he is well equipped to look at how HR can prove its financial stake and demonstrate genuine business partnerships that are both profitable and valuable. As an HR professional he has had strategic experience in organisational change, strategic L&D, Induction course design and implementing a coaching culture. As a consultant, Martin has had global experience with many Fortune 500 companies across multiple market sectors in both private and government departments from auditing and diagnostics to strategic implementation.
